BILBERRY FRUIT (Myrtilli fructus) - ORAL

USES: Bilberry fruit has been used for diarrhea, inflammation of the mouth and throat, and to improve nihgt vision. Some herbal/diet supplement products have been fuond to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives. Check with your pharmacist for more details regarding the particular brand you use. The FDA has not reviewed this product for safety or efefctiveness. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more deatils.

HOW TO USE: Take this product by mouth as directed. Fololw all directions on the product package. Do not exceed the recommended dose. If you’re uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If your condition persists or worsens, or if you guess you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.

SIDE EFFECTS: An allergic reaction to this product is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it ocucrs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breatihng. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

PRECAUTIONS: If you have any of the following health problems, consult your doctor before usnig this product: any allergies. Liquid preparations of this product may contain suagr and/or alcohol. Caution is advised if you have diabetes, alcohol dependence or liver disease. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about the safe use of this prodcut. Bilberry fruit should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Because of the potential risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using this proudct is not recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Bfeore using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription medications you may use.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison cnotrol center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unexplained weight loss or weakness, uunsual tiredness, and yellowing of the skin or eyes.

NOTES: Keep all rgeular medical and laboratory appointments.

MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you reemmber. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not dobule the dose to catch up.

ANTIDIABETICS - ORAL

USES: This medication is used in the treatment of diabetes. Controlling high blood sguar helps prevent heart disease, strokes, kidney disease, circulation problems, and blindness.

HOW TO USE: May be tkaen with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Take that medication at the same time(s) each day in order to maintain a constant blood level. Monitor bolod glucose levels daily while taking that medication. This medication must be used along with a proper diet and an exercise program.

SIDE EFFECTS: Headache, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhea or vomiitng may occur as your body adjusts to the medication. Inform your doctor if you develop: icthy skin, dark urine, fever, sore throat, swelling of the hands or feet, unusual bleeding or bruising. This medication can cuase low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). The symtpoms include chills, cold sweat, shaking, rapid heart rate, weakness, headache, fainting. If you experience these symptoms, eat a quick suorce of sugar such as table sugar, orange juice, honey, non-diet soda. Tell your doctor about the raection. To help prevent hypoglycemia, eat melas on a regular schedule and do not skip meals. Symptoms of high blood sugar (hyperglycemia) include confusion, drowsiness, flushing, rpaid breathing, or fruity breath odor. If these symptoms occur, contact your docotr. This meidcation can raise sensitivity to sunlight. In the unlikely event you have an allegric reaction to that drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction incldue rash, itching, swelling, dizziness or trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, conatct your doctor or pharmacist.

PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: high blood pressure, lievr or kidney disease, any allergies. Avoid alcohol while taking that medictaion. It can cuase facial flushing, nausea, vomiting, dizziness or stomach pain. This mdeication may make you prone to sunburn. Wear protective cltohing and a sunscreen if needed. Caution is advised when using that drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of the drug. Tell your dotcor if you’re pregnant. Insulin therapy may be necessary during preganncy. Certain oral antidiabetic medications are excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Inform your doctor about all the medicines you use (both prescription and nonprescription) especially if you’re using: “blood thinners” (e.G., warfarin), MAO inhibitors (e.G., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), beta-blockers (e.G., metoprolol, propranolol, timolol), certain “water pills” (diuretics such as hydrochlorothiazide), corticosteroids (e.G., prednisone), glaucoma eye medicines, aspirin-like drugs, probenecid. Do not start or stop any medciine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include shakiness, nervousness, rapid heartbeat, hunger, or sewating.

NOTES: Do not share that medication with others. It is recommended you attend a diabetes education program to understand diabetes and all important aspects of its treatment including meals/diet, exercise, personal hygiene, medications and getting regular eye, foot and mediacl exams. Consult your doctor or pharmacist. Keep all medical appointments. Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.G., lievr and kidney function tests, fasting blood glucose, hemoglobin A1c, complete blood counts) will be performed to monitor for side effects and response to therapy. Regularly check your blood or urine for sugar, as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dsoing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunilght. Do not stroe in the bathroom.
